Too Many Aliexpress Stores

I think this app is unique and a great way to sell your items but Ive only been on the app for a few weeks have already noticed many flaws.

Its unfortunate to find there are way too many Aliexpress and other China based stores infested on this app. I have about 800 followers. I usually check out a store once they follow me and most of the time these stores are all selling the same crap. Youll know what I mean when I say their entire store is stolen pictures of attractive women in floral rompers, that one burgundy bikini, crop tops that says Tommy and undies that say Calvin Klein.

A great reason to use Depop is to reuse clothing that others dont have a use for anymore. Its for unique small handmade clothing stores and vintage lovers. These generic China-based stores are ruining the authenticity of the app. Go to Aliexpress and stop supporting them on Depop!

Aside from that problem, if youre not from the UK, good luck getting featured. It feels misleading to have a guide that shows you how to take pictures in order to get possibly featured, when you clearly dont have a chance because of where you live. Rarely is a user from the US or Canada featured.
