i’ve used this app since i was in 7th grade and now i’m going into 12th. i loved it for so many years and pretty much exclusively bought all my clothing on depop. i used to buy around 2 things a week on average, but since they decided to make the buyers pay for every fee under the sun, i haven’t bought anything in months. there is no reason that a shirt should double in price after shipping and fees. as a buyer AND a seller, the fees never bothered me as a seller. but it’s truly just ridiculous now and i can’t imagine that depop is getting much revenue from this either, since i can’t name a single person who is eager to buy a listed $8 for $18
I am your active seller and I love you. But it’s sooo difficult to understand how to handle some cases (issues, returning etc.) You didn’t reach by email as you said, it’s difficult to understand HOW exactly it works. What does it mean to “confirm” the return without any button/tracking number or something? What does it mean to provide buyer with a refund (and also “it will be provide automatically”) So many cases where you just need a good product manager ) UPD: When you do app updates please make sure you update Q&A also.

Depop ACTIVELY HATES its users and will implement app breaking changes every so often just for fun. I work in software engineering and it’s absolutely appalling the standards Depop has towards app development.
Well, this is the 5th time they’ve decided to randomly remove the sellers I follow feed, which is the essential way I shop since I follow over 800 sellers. I guess it’s back to opening the app, scrolling down the endless suggested feed to see if the sellers I follow feed is back, and if it’s not then close the app and repeat the next day. Literally no clue why they keep doing this but it’s really annoying.
Do not buy from this app, customer service will scam you. Their policies are open because they know exactly what they’re doing. They will claim you did not send proof of postage for your return because of their dual email scam (if you hit reply and it’s sent to their ‘reply to’ address, you will never hear back). You have to copy paste the email they reply from instead. They don’t allow you to use an Apple relay email “because they can’t respond” but they use one themselves for support. Scam. My bank had to refund me because they ignored me even when I sent proof of postage immediately and then when they claimed I never sent that, they ignored my screenshot proof of sending that proof. Their snooty sellers don’t disclose details about items and ignore messages when asked. Sellers lack integrity and CS lacks integrity. Don’t waste your money.
Update: Increasing the rating to be more fair now that someone has acknowledged receipt. Though I will say - the developer response suggested sharing feedback through the help center - I did look through the help center before resorting to App Store reviews and did not see an obvious avenue for functionality feedback. Thinking something like qualtrics, levelAI, happy or not or something like shake to send feedback - or your own spin on elements of those things. ——— Original: I am struggling to find a way to leave feedback on functionality within the app so hoping someone will see and act on something here. I was mainly looking to ask that filters be added to messaging that allow users to filter out messages from buyers vs. sellers or hide offers from the main message inbox. The current design combing offers with general messaging means that offers and personalized messages from curious buyers get buried under a barrage of bulk sent offers from other sellers. Given the volume of offers from sellers - combing these inboxes without adequate filtering has made the app just about unusable - I would not stay on it if I were to be starting to sell for the first time with this UI. A second, new concern that has come up while looking for a way to ask for filtering or an alternative separation of offers and messages or of comms from seller and those from buyers - is around avenues for providing feedback on app functionality or contacting customer support for the platform. I would have appreciated an obvious, quick and direct way to provide this feedback within the app rather than posting this publicly as an App Store review with an attention seekingly low rating in the hopes that someone might see and do something about it.
Absolutely great place to get clothes that can fit your style you’re looking for, being able to offer a price is great!
Bought several items. One of which never shipped and I did not notice until a good while later. I’m not sitting there monitoring my account for a 25 dollar refund - easy oversight. When I contacted them they said I had waited too long. why would they have not just automatically fixed it? You can literally see on the app that the seller never shipped anything. Shady sellers, plus almost everything is listed excellent or “brand new” and almost nothing I bought that said this, was actually that. Expect it to be used regardless of item description
I love the app so much but I keep getting suspended for no reason.
Ever since they redid the app, it straight up refuses to let me login to the app with my password. Even when I use the magic link, I just get to watch the Depop logo flip around for an hour and still never get in. Awful app design, whoever redid this should feel bad and the people who hired them should be fired too.

Trash scammers worst app ever
I sold something on depop with my own shipping, I shipped off the order and the next day it said my buyer had been refunded. I already shipped off my item, and now I’m not even going to get payed. Emailed depop support they never responded. It said they will respond within 24 hours they never did. DO NOT SELL ON DEPOP THEY JUST STEAL YOUR MONEY. Unbelievable.
The main thing I would like to see is proper iPad support, it's still an iPhone only app that looks stupid on the iPad. There’s absolutely no excuse for that considering how simple it is to make an app compatible with iPad.

New feature of adding buy 2 or more get a certain amount off discounted feature is not showing up for me under selling. Would really like to be able to access this feature!
I have been shopping on depop for years and listing and I was recently signed out of the app. When I attempt to sign in it noted there is an updated version of the app. I got to App Store and no updates are shown here just “go to app”. I see under needed version 16.. etc it was working just fine not long ago why require newer iOS? I hate when apps do that. It worked fine before why force people to update their iOS? I’m not so I just will head over to other platforms I guess.
for some reason i can’t even login once i get to the user name part it freezes and i can’t type i would really like to know how to fix this
I’m not sure if sellers are listing the size and genders wrong but every time when I search an item for men’s sizes I get baby and women results. It clutters up the search results and because of that, my recommended items are of baby and women clothing. Please fix it.

Love this app. So easy to list and buy. Only issue is I wish their offer setting was like the others. when they send an offer and you accept it chargers the buyer. constantly getting offers and they don’t pay. 😭
Even though I enter my sizes and use them to filter a search, I’m still shown many many listings outside that range. In addition, the search feature isn’t sensitive to many terms, which means you have to scroll through thousands of listings that are the wrong size and wrong fit. Too frustrating to use.
a long time ago i had a depop account i was buying things left and right having an amazing time until i was buying these russel athletic black track pants i had asked the seller multiple times when will you send it on different days he had said to me “oh i dont feel like it” it just set me off i had said things i shouldnt have said but i just want my account back i know depop doesn’t know anything about me its just i’ve changed i screwed up i just want a second chance to prove im different please depop if you see this please appeal my account

Seems like depop has made it close to impossible for customers to checkout while shopping on this app. Endless offers with no real significant outcome. It’s disappointing to have 20+ accepted offers a day for nothing. Depop will not fix this for whatever reason
I love browsing the app and I have purchased many things, but it has become almost impossible to get the app to work. I have tried switching WiFi’s but nothing works, and about 80% of the time the app says there’s an error if I let it load, this has made about impossible for me to browse the app with out just giving up.
The platform is good, but if you’re a buyer the problem is in the sellers. Slow shipping times, deceptive listings, unresponsiveness, and more. Another issue is the fees. The high platform fees can make you want to go to other platforms. If they had more and stricter rules on the sellers, and lowered the fees, this platform would be much better.
Depop seems like a really good app but I am scared to get scammed is there a way to refund if I happen to get scammed?

There was an issue with an item I bought and basically got scammed. After my purchase, the sellers user got deleted. It took about 1 minute to report through the app (didn’t have to talk to or call anyone) and it took about a day and a half for me to immediately receive a refund. Hands down the best app for selling and, mostly, buying!
Poor customer support on issues in the past such as. They held my big sum of money once and made no sense. If you have an on going issues , Customer service switches their people on emails so i found myself explaining emails repetitively. People send offers and never pay. Just a bunch of brokies sending offers to get the best deals allowing for a lack of accountability. You allow people to change their mind in a deal. If they send and we accept that’s a hand shake, can’t back out on a handshake deal. We demand “BINDING OFFERS” and no cancellations. Another thing, I had a friend with 700+ listings and because he mistakenly thought a designer tee was authentic, 1 listing of a boot tee shirt of $35 value got him banned. They banned him instead of simply saying these are not allowed and delete listing to help guide the seller who invest hundreds of hours making listings on this platform… I love grailed, I love ebay, I love whatnot, I love posh. They have BINDING OFFERS. Its the future. Definitely not depops finest hour.
Your customer service is actually worse than the IRS, you let users scam customers and offer no support. Used to be fine but in the past year has become terrible. Will be uninstalling and getting my used clothes from the RealReal.

They actually fixed this issue and then somehow decided to ruin it all over again!! PLEASE change it back!! And bring back the $20 and under section! I want to be able to see the feed of people I follow! And it’s unfair to people who have worked hard to develop large followings that their followers wont see them in a feed! Bring back the old set up WHY do you keep doing this!!???? I love Depop. I’ve been buying and selling on it for years. I get most of my clothes on it! But I’ve never been on an app that so constantly makes unnecessary changes that seem outright HOSTILE to its users. The most egregious has happened recently and has made me loathe using the app more than I ever have (and I love this app!). Now you basically only have the “Suggested” feed and cannot scroll down to see the items of sellers you follow… Why?? This doesn’t allow buyers to remain updated about sellers they like and it really screws over sellers who have worked hard to build a business and following!! Please change the home feed back to the way or was and allow people to see new items from the sellers that they follow again!!! Please!

Hi! I love depop don’t get me wrong. I recently had made a purchase from a new seller and they’re having a hard time refunding my money. I’ve been told it’s a hard process. How can you make a refund?
no longer using depop, every other secondhand selling platform that i actively use like poshmark and grailed and vinted dont force for an update to the phone os to use for a minimal use app
They’ve got alot of amazing deals and everything that’s new will be used soon enough so might as well save a little bit of cash when you can!!!!
i’ve used ebay and grailed and de pop is by far my favorite, the app makes it super easy to shop and sell
I really liked when they added the feature where you can see the available clothes in you likes/saves but now they got rid of it and I have to scroll so much just to find available clothes and it’s very annoying please put it back. Thank you (I do love this app)
don’t even bother downloading the app. depop only cares about the sellers not the buyers. they will ban you just for making an account and then deny your appeal. seriously terrible business.
You’ll get scammed on this app and they’ll ban you being scammed. Download this app if you like getting shafted out of your money.
Banned me for no reason. I went to support and they could not gave me a clear reason why I was banned. This app is unprofessional. I do not recommend buying.

Depop is a scam!! It does NOT care about anyone who uses the app, only cares about money. Sellers: • Depop advertises free selling, but has a hidden fee that you have to pay per item sold!! • Buyer doesnt like the item? They get full refund no matter how much it costs. Depop doesn’t care if you make money or not. • If you sold many items and your account gets suspended for no reason, you don’t get to keep ANY money. They keep it all! Same with buyers!! My account got suspended due to someone reporting me for no reason, and all the packages I paid for I won’t recieve and I can’t get a refund!!
